Sponsor an Article
What does sponsoring an article do?
When you pay to sponsor an article, it locks that article from being able to be edited by anyone but the original author.
Why would I want to sponsor an article?
Many companies or individuals creating articles about themselves or their company or organization may want to ensure that their article isn't editable by others, maintaining the integrity of their information. Since sponsoring a post locks it from being edited from anyone other than the original author (or admins), it is a worthwhile investment in their own brand and marketing.
What articles can I sponsor?
You can sponsor any how-to or educational article that you have authored, OR any vanity, person, corporate, or organization article for which you have a verifiable way to show affiliation to. For example, you are credentialed with the title and official email address of the person or company you would like to lock. Someone from ABC company cannot lock an article about XYZ company.
How much does it cost to sponsor an article?
Sponsoring an article requires an annual subscription of $500, which can be canceled before renewal.
Where does the sponsorship money go?
The money collected through article sponsorship is use for site expenses, and the remainder is divided between the site admins to support their personal work and contributions to the site.
